Evelyn Byrd, Owner and Founder
Ms. Evelyn's passion for creating and designing beautiful things has been a lifelong pursuit. Despite initially dreaming of a career in fashion and the visual arts, she found herself drawn to education instead. "As a teacher, I realized I could still nurture creativity in my classroom," she reflected.

While she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to serving children and families, molding young minds, and shaping the future, a lingering desire to express her creativity in a business venture remained. Throughout her journey, Evelyn has orchestrated fashion shows, weddings, birthday parties, and room design projects. She has also secured million-dollar grants for organizations and mentored young girls on etiquette and personal development through her organization, "Tea Cups" (formerly Girlfriend Ministries, Inc.), all while maintaining a career in education spanning over 20 years.

Evelyn's academic achievements include degrees in Public Relations and Marketing from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Assessment from Walden University, and an Education Leadership Specialist Degree from Columbus State University. She is happy to say that one of her greatest accomplishments is raising her daughter.

Following a pivotal moment in her life, numerous prayers, and the culmination of her experiences on a vision board, Evelyn made the decision to launch "Lilies and Dreams Occasions and Events." Now, every morning brings her the joy of pursuing her true passion—crafting unique and unforgettable experiences for her clients.
